what's more effective for curing acne - salycilic acid or benzoyl peroxide? Right now I'm looking at two products that I'm trying to decide between:
1. Peter Thomas Roth Acne and Area Treatment
Contains: sulfur, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid
2. DDF 5% Benzoyl Peroxide Gel with Tea Tree Oil
If you know anything about these products, which one is better?
Or if you're not familiar with those products, what do you find to be more effective? Products containing SALICYLIC ACID or ones containing BENZOYL PEROXIDE?

j c replied: "They are both good! Salicylic acid helps to exfoliate dead cells, benzoyl peroxide helps to dry out and kill bacteria. I usually apply the SA in the morning and at night use both! Best wishes!"

Be careful with it b/c it's an antiseptic known for killing all types of microbes "Bacteria, viruses, and fungi" which means that your skin cells will probably not survive in it. Here's what I suggest. If you have issues with breakouts use the following toner:
Per 1oz of Witch Hazel put 1 aspirin, 1 drop tea tree oil, 1 drop lavender, 1tbs Isopropyl Alcohol.

Next go to Sephora and Lancome and ask them for samples of their "oil free moisturizers"
