What batteries can I use for my Kodak Easyshare Z712? I have a Kodak Easyshare Z712 and it is very picky on what batteries it functions with. The manual recommends a KLIC-8000 Rechargeable Li-ion battery or Lithium AA batteries. I bought brand new Lithium batteries and it shows the low battery sign. If you could respond with any/all of the batteries that my camera can use that would be greatly appreciated.

Elvis replied: "your KLIC rechargeable is the best one to use"

Seeandy replied: "KLIC-8000 Rechargeable Li-ion battery ONLINE SHOP "

What can I use to charge my Kodak EasyShare camera? Ok so, I have a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS. I bought some Kodak Rechargable Lithium batteries that did in fact work but now they died. I also have a Kodak USB AC Adapter, but when I plug it in, it doesn't work? Is there a specific adapter I have to use or what?

mislanaday replied: "This might be a stupid question, but did you buy a charger with your Lithium batteries? Rechargeable batteries run out of juice, you have to recharge the suckers. The AC adapter is Kodak 3V 8919409. It doesn't charge your camera, just lets you use it while it's plugged into your AC outlet (where you would plug in a lamp or hairdryer..). A USB plug is a different matter (it's when you want to connect your camera, printer, MP3 player etc directly to your computer). This too does not charge your Kodak."

Problems with my Kodak Easyshare Z712? I have a Kodak Easyshare Z712 camera and its not working. I can turn it on favorites but when I switch the mode to anything else the lens does not go out. I have regular lithium batteries in there and my battery tester says there all right.

tstcbunny replied: "I would look up the Kodak service number, tell them what its doing and there's a good chance they can let you know what the issue could possibly be. Also they could prolly give you an estimate on what the repair would cost. Then you could decide whether it would be worth it to have it repaired or replaced. And honestly with it being a Kodak, those are cheap cameras for a reason. Your camera is about 2 yrs old which is a good lifetime for a camera like that. I see more Kodak's in my store w/problems the just about any other brand, fuji is second. Honestly our store quit selling them many years ago when they went price-point vs quality. Best of luck."

What batteries can I use for my Kodak Easyshare Z712? The recommended KLIC-8000 Li-Ion Rechargeable battery is over $20 bucks. When I use AA batteries the camera dies instantly. It also says I can use a Lithium battery but that is also pretty expensive. Anyone know a cheap battery (Rechargeable or not) that I can use for my camera?

Johncool replied: "Li-Ion batteries are usually expensive as they last much more than regular AA batteries and are rechargeable. For your camera, I found the following battery for $16.16. At Checkout, use coupon code EB8 for 10% off and free shipping. I found this deal at dealjuggler.com. The sale is through ebatts.com. ---HiCapacity-KLIC-8000-battery---Only-$16.16-with-free-shipping.html Hope the above was helpful, Enjoy.."
