Mercedes-Benz C320 Coupe - which year did Benz stop manufacturing this model? I was just curious to know which year Mercedes-Benz C320 Sport Coupe was last manufactured? 2005 or later? Why doesn't Mercedes manufacture this model anymore? Any problems with this car??! sm

Jay P replied: "The last year was 2006. It was discontinued because it fell below sales expectations. There will be a new coming out based on the new C-Class though. The mechanicals are the same for the coupe and sedan so if you are interested in a certain year, just look at the sedan for potential problem areas. EDIT: Actually Austin, we are both correct. The U.S. discontinued the C-Class coupe in '05 but Canada ( where I live ), continued importing the coupe for one more year. Below is a Benz dealer in Ontario selling a used 06 C-coupe."

Austin replied: "Jay is actually incorrect. The C230K (coupe) was produced between model years 2002 and 2005. Mercedes gave up on the model because of lagging sales, and people thought they were too cheap for a Benz. It was actually a great little car for the price, and people that bought them love them and hang on to them. There are rumors that Mercedes is going to bring the coupe back with the new body style, but chances are we will not see them in the US."

cj replied: "Mercedes-Benz manufactured it from 2002-2005 and stopped because the demand was low,BUT they are bringing a totally new model called the CLC that is the coupe version of the new C-class (See it on GOOGLE)"

How do I change some settings on my 2004 Mercedes C320 coupe? I need some help. I just bought a used 2004 Mercedes C320 sport coupe. I am trying to adjust a few of the settings. I read the owner’s manual, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. Can I get some help with the following changes? 1.I want the car to “beep” when I press the lock button to let those around me know the car has an alarm. 2.I am trying to set up the hands-free device to answer a call while driving. I would like to use the sound of the other person’s voice to come through the car speakers. My phone has Bluetooth compatibility. Is this a possibility? 3.I would like to adjust the time in my center console. I can’t seem to find a way to do this without resetting all my settings. Thanks for your help! Randy

mccoyblues replied: "1 - Are you sure there is an audible signal option for the door locks? You won't get a beep no matter what you do if it doesn't exist. 2 - Programmable ringtones are a function of the phone. Not sure if it transfers to any hands free devices built into a car. The ringtone built into the car's bluetooth option probably isn't programmable. 3 - The Clock? You should have instructions in the owners manual for adjusting the time on the clock."

yeah replied: "Congrats on the new car. 1) You cannot do this without adding an aftermarket alarm - I've inquired about this at the dealer. 2) The 2004 C-class is not bluetooth capable (from what I know..) 3) On your steering wheel, press the bottom left button on the left side of the wheel until you get the screen that says "Settings: To reset....blah blah blah". Then, press the top (or up) button on the left side, not the volume up on right side of the wheel. Now scroll down to time/date using the volume controls on the right side of the wheel, press the up arrow on the left side again until the clock adjustment screen pops up.. It'll be pretty obvious when it does. This should work."

doug0102 replied: "Mercedes doesn't make front wheel drive cars. Never made one. An SUV can be an AWD, but a coupe can only be a RWD (if it's a Mercedes.)"

Jay P replied: "The C-Class coupes ( either the C230 or the C320 ) are RWD only. Benz did not make a 4Matic ( AWD ) version for the coupes like they did for the C-Class sedans. In response to the first post, Benz does indeed make FWD cars. There is the A-Class ( not sold in North America ) and there is the B-Class ( sold in Canada but not the US )."
